FAQs

Can I play my own music in the private room?

Yes you can. We have a TV which can be connected to via HDMI if you bring your own device – here you can play through youtube/spotify. Or you can connect your phone/audio device via an auxiliary cord to The Chambers’ speakers.

Do you have a screen in the room that we can use?

Yes, there is a 60′ inch flat screen, which can be connected to via HDMI.

Is the The Chambers fully private/sound proof?

The Chambers has glass doors which close fully, but can be seen through and are not fully sound proof to the noise of the bar.

Can I bring a DJ for the private room?

You can bring one, however the room has a maximum capacity of 30 people standing, so with a DJ set up this would reduce the capacity to 15-20. Do also keep in mind that volume must be kept in line with the volume of the rest of the venue.

Can we bring a cake?

Yes, absolutely! Just let us know ahead of time.

Can we decorate the space?

Feel free to decorate the space with banners/bunting/balloons etc. We just ask that you take these down at the end of the night, and avoid glitter/confetti.

Is there parking?

No, there is no free parking at the Tavern. You may be able to find very limited paid on street parking further down Leman Street, or the surrounding area, but we are just a two minute walk from Aldgate East tube station!

Is your venue wheelchair accessible?

Our entire venue is completely step free and fully accessible, including an accessible toilet.

Are you dog friendly?

Yes, we welcome well behaved dogs, as long as they remain on a lead, and not on the furniture.

Are kids allowed?

Yes, children are welcome as long as they are supervised at all times. However, we do advise that during our peak trading hours, it may not be advisable to bring the little ones along with you, for your/their own comfort.

We had our wedding meal at Leman Street Tavern. We had 13 guests in the private room and it was just perfect. The staff (Mimi in particular) were really attentive and helpful, Mimi helped us to plan the meal down to every detail and nothing we asked of them was a problem. The food was nice and portions were huge!

One of London’s the best venues for birthdays and corporate events! The location is great, the drink variety is great and last but not least the food is amazing. I highly recommend the venue.
